How To Host A Summer Retreat

Almost one year ago, our client, wedding and event florist, Bella By Sara moved into their very own studio in Dripping Springs. With a welcoming sitting area for potential clients, an interactive office with a presentation screen to showcase proposals and two large prep areas - the new space gave the floral design company the opportunity to spread out and grow. With the new studio, Bella By Sara now has the capability to take on bigger projects and has limitless space to create new floral designs.

Eager to show off their new space to the Central Texas event industry, Bella By Sara asked us to help her create a Summer Retreat.

A notoriously slow time in the events and wedding industry, we knew Summer would be the perfect time to have a captive audience. Featuring a live interview with Kaleigh Weiss, founder of luxury wedding branding company Meldeen, the event also included towers of delicious appetizers from La Pera Catering, sweet treats by Polkadots Cupcake Factory, wine by William Chris Winery and delicious drinks by Austin Cocktails. We transformed one of our prep areas into a Summer spa complete with a mini manicure bar hosted by Lacquer Nail Salon, on-site spray tan by Sunny Girl Spray Tan, a make-up refresh station by Nisa Nicole Make-Up, and last but not least, Party At the Moontower Rentals created a beautiful sitting area for our guest to rest and relax.

To showcase her skills, Bella By Sara designed multiple floral arrangements and two wall installations for the event. The first wall installation in the studio’s sitting area cascaded along the wall to create a warm and inviting entrance. The second wall installation set the vibe for our summer spa. With tropical leaves covering the wall, guests felt like they were on vacation for the afternoon.

As a thank you to our guests, each attendee received a custom Bella By Sara candle with the scent of two of her favorite flowers, peonies and gardenias as they left.

The Bella By Sara team had a blast at our Summer Retreat, meeting new faces, catching up with old friends and getting a little pampered! See a few photos from our event below. Photos by Taylor Prinsen Photography.
